Sometimes you need to have an expert tutor work with your child for a while.

‘The Student Tuition Centre’ is situated in Napier, Hawke’s Bay,
New Zealand.


Coaching is given via Skype, conference call or face to face.

The subjects taught include:

  1. ‣Study skills- strategies to learn smarter and faster (for primary, secondary and university students).

  2. ‣English (reading, writing, spelling and essay writing skills)

  3. ‣Mathematics up to year 10.

I firmly believe that good coaching can enable your child to achieve beyond expectations.

The Student Tuition Centre works in close partnership with you and your child to:

  1. ‣Teach them useful reading, writing and maths strategies and study skills.

  2. ‣Develop a mutually respectful coaching relationship.

  3. ‣Build on existing reading, writing and maths skills.

  4. ‣Teach you how to work with your child at home so they regularly practise the skills they are learning.

We wanted tuition because Mitchell was struggling at school, and other methods I had tried and seen others try were ineffective. It was intensive hands on 1-1 and there were no computers involved. She interacts so well with them and tailors the way she teaches to suit the child. She takes the time to see them as individuals.

For Mitchell she was quite happy to go over things till he got it, and was quite happy to approach in another direction if one wasn’t working. She kept linking things back to what he already knew. She explained in ways he could understand it, and took the mystery out of maths.

I’m ecstatic and couldn’t have wished for better results for my son. I really like her personal approach to the students.
